Postman collection

Guidance on using our public Postman collection.

Postman is a common tool used to explore and test APIs. Our public collection covers the whole Spendesk Public API — one folder per area, in the same order as this documentation — and comes with two environments, Spendesk Sandbox (demo) and Spendesk Production. Fork it with the button below.

📘

Set up in three steps

  1. Select the Spendesk Sandbox (demo) or Spendesk Production environment.
  2. Fill in clientId and clientSecret with your API key credentials. The collection gets an access token and renews it for you — nothing to encode or copy.
  3. With an organisation-level credential, fill in companyId: it is sent as the X-Company-Id header on every call (see Organisation-level access). Leave it empty with a company-level credential.

Partners using OAuth2 can set accessToken themselves, from the requests of the Authentication folder.

Request bodies show the required fields; each endpoint's page in the API reference lists the others. Endpoints marked experimental need experimental:* scopes — see Scopes.
