Recipes for finance teams

A new Recipes section answers everyday finance questions with as little code as possible. Each recipe gives three ways to get the answer: a request from our Postman collection, a question to ask your AI assistant through the Spendesk MCP server, or a short Python script to copy and run — no package to install.

• Export a month of spend to a spreadsheet — every expense of a month in a CSV, with supplier or employee, amount, cost center, bookkeeping status and receipt.
• List the invoices due this week — the approved supplier invoices to pay, overdue ones first, with the total per currency.
• Month-end close checklist — what is still missing before closing a month: receipts, exports, approvals, failed exports.
• Check the wallet balance — balance, available and committed amounts, and the latest wallet loads.
